Shipping Policy
Where we ship
We ship across Canada from Ontario. We don't ship to the US or internationally at this time. If you're outside Canada, email us at info@thefabricshoppe.ca and we'll talk about your order.
Shipping rates
Fabric by the yard ships at a flat rate based on your region. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay, and taxes are added at checkout.
- Ontario and Quebec: $35
- Atlantic Canada (NS, NB, PE): $45
- Newfoundland and Labrador: $55
- Prairies (AB, MB, SK): $50
- British Columbia: $50
- Yukon and Northwest Territories: $75
The rate is the same whether you order 3 yards or 10, because shipping cost depends on the size of the roll, not the weight.
Swatches
Swatches ship for a flat $15 anywhere in Canada. It costs the same to ship 1 swatch as 10, so order everything you're considering at once. Swatch orders also get a $10 discount code for a future purchase of $100 or more.
Processing and delivery
Most orders ship within 1 to 3 business days. Once your order ships, you'll get an email with a tracking number. Delivery usually takes 3 to 10 business days depending on where you are.
Your fabric ships directly from our supplier. If you order more than one fabric, it may arrive in separate boxes, on different days.
Tracking
Use the tracking number in your shipping email to follow your order. If tracking hasn't moved in a few days, email us and we'll look into it.
Damaged, lost or wrong orders
If your order arrives damaged, is missing, or isn't what you ordered, email us at info@thefabricshoppe.ca within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos, and we'll help sort it out.
Address changes
Please double check your shipping address at checkout. Contact us right away if it needs to change. We can only update an address before the order ships.
Refund Policy
All fabric is cut to order from the roll, so all sales of cut fabric are final. We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges on cut fabric.
Please order carefully
- Double check your yardage before you check out. Fabric cut to your order can't be put back on the roll.
- Colours look different on every screen. If colour matters, order a 9x9" swatch first.
- Swatches are final sale too.
- If you need more than one piece of the same fabric, order it all at once. Fabric from different orders can come from different dye lots, so we can't guarantee a match.
Damaged or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, or you received the wrong fabric, email us at info@thefabricshoppe.ca within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the fabric and the packaging, and we'll make it right.
Cancelling an order
If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as you can. We can only cancel an order before it has shipped.
